Two Persona 4 games announced and Persona 5 in the works

There is going to be a lot of Persona related news now. Today, Persona 4 will have 2 games coming to Playstation 3, Xbox360, Arcade, and Playstation Vita.

If you played or heard of Persona 3 Portable (P3P), you might be unsurprised that Persona 4 will be getting the same treatment. Under the title Persona 4: The Golden, it will not be made for the Playstation Portable, but instead for the upcoming PS Vita. P4G, or Persona 4: The Golden is basically a enhanced port of the original Playstation 2 RPG. This updated version will add a new character named Marie, additional voice recording, animation sequences, visuals and a new opening movie.

Another Persona 4 game is also in the works, but in the form of an arcade fighting game. Persona 4: The Ultimate In Mayonaka Arena will be a new 2D fighter developed by Arc System Work, the minds behind BlazBlue. Persona 4: UIMA will have characters from both Persona 4 and 3, and each will have their own unique story. The game will also support online competitive play. This unique fighter will be release in arcades firsts, while the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the summer of 2012 in Japan.


Finally, Persona 5 is finally starting to begin in development. The same staff will be returning like; Katsura Hasina as director, Shigenori Soejimaas character designer , and Shoji Meguro as main composer . Nothing more has been said.
