Black Ops 2 Is Real

After many rumours about a potential Black Ops sequel on the way – including an outing by Amazon France, as well as a forum post that was removed by Activision – it seems that concrete information has finally arrived.

An IGN reader sent in a photograph to the website of some ‘reservation packs’ for upcoming Black Ops 2, which even state it’s release date of 13th November 2012 – which would place it on a Tuesday. It all seems pretty legitimate.

It’s safe to say that the game will launch on PS3 and Xbox 360 for certain, but it will probably also launch on PC and then have a slew of spinoffs for every other format available. It is unknown if the PS Vita Call of Duty title will be Black Ops 2 or an entirely new title.

On May 1st Activision will make a Call of Duty related announcement, sorry to spoil the surprise, but we have a feeling it’ll be Black Ops 2.
