Sony partner up with MLG

Ever seen yourself as a MLG Pro gamer? Play enough Planetside 2 that you’re top of the scoreboards every round? Well, you might just be in luck as Sony have partnered up with MLG to bring the hugely popular Planetside 2 to competitive gaming.

This year-long collaboration will span all of MLG’s properties including original broadcast programming, online competition and presence at MLG events.

Over the next few months, both the MLG and Planetside 2 will work together closely to develop competitive gameplay features deemed ideal for Planetside 2 gameplay, that will showcase the MMOFPS at its best.

Details and a complete broadcast schedule for those wanting to keep up with the best of the best in the Planetside 2 universe will be released within the coming weeks.

Planetside 2 players around the world will soon be able to compete via MLG’s GameBattles online competition site. Additionally, Planetside 2 gaming stations will be featured at MLG’s first Pro Circuit event of 2013, the Winter Championship in Dallas in Dallas, Texas on MArch 15-17th.
