PS3 to get MGR:R VR Missions

A big part of the original Metal Gear Solid games were the VR missions. They were a popular addition and PS3 owners will be glad to hear that they’ll be getting 30 exclusive VR Missions for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The VR Missions were first introduced on the Playstation in Japan in the form of Metal Gear Solid: Integral. It was released on June 25, 1999 and it was an extended version of the original game based on the North American localisation. The was an extra disc of Virtual Reality training missions dubbed the “VR Disc”.

The new DLC VR Missions will contain 30 missions for you to get your grubby mitts around. IT will feature a mix of combat training, tactical manoeuvring, stealth-based approaches and more. Interestingly, Konami have also announced that you’ll be able to take control of the highly loved/hated Dwarf Gekko in the VR Missions.

The DLC hasn’t yet been given a release date though Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will be released February 19, in North AmericaFebruary 21st in Japan and Australia and finally, Europe will be getting it on February 22nd.
