The latest GRID 2, World Series Racing video was released today and revealed a few of the all-new racing locales to be featured in the upcoming title as well as touring cars available.
The video talks about the few categories of racing such as Street Racing and Track Racing. The Street Racing location chosen was Paris which will take players around the city past well known monuments such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. The Track racing venue chosen was Algarve International Circuit which makes it videogame debut in GRID 2 and was built in 2008 for $250 million having a reputation as being one of the most exciting venues in motorsport. Additional tracks in the European leg will be Brands Hatch and the Red Bull Ring for Track Racing and Barcelona, Spain for another Street Racing venue.
The video also shows off two of the four touring cars on display for the European area. In the Super Touring Cars class, the Volvo S60 BTCS is known as Volvo’s flagship racer. The Gomez Competition developed by GC Automotive is also one of the premier racers set to be in the game. Additional touring cars that aren’t in the video are the BMW Motorsport 320 TC, and the Chevy Cruze Touring car. Full list of announced European vehicles are below along with the video.
GRID 2 is set to release on Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3 on May 28th in North America.
