Destiny’s Dark Below expansion brings a load of new content

With the release of Destiny’s first expansion just around the corner, Bungie have released some more details on what players can expect. The new update brings new additions to every part of the game, there’s new story missions, strikes and a new raid – Crota’s End. Three new multiplayer maps are also included in the DLC: Pantheon, the first symmetrical map in Destiny with 3 lanes. Skyshock, has two separate areas for vehicle and infantry battles. And finally, The Cauldron, a small team based map perfect for Skirmish or Rumble.

A new vendor will appear in the Tower called Eris Morn, she was once part of a group of Guardians sent to destroy the Hive God – ‘Crota’, when they failed she sought refuge beneath the Moon’s surface, she’s now back to seek revenge. Eris is the main quest giver for the new bounties which will award players with all new weaponry and armor – including new exotics, new raid gear and general legendary items.

The Dark Below will be released on all platforms December 9 for £19.99/$19.99.
