RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile Launched

The fifth game in the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile, is now available to buy on Apple devices.

The PC series, which released their first portable version of the game – RollerCoaster Tycoon 3DS – in 2012, has moved to mobile gaming. Atari announced in March 2014 that the next installment in the series would be on mobile devices, and on 10th April RollerCoaster Tycoon 4 Mobile was made available to buy on iTunes.

As with the first four games, you can design your own rides and design the layout of your park. Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile also allows you to share roller coaster designs with others and compete with other players online. They confirmed on their Facebook page that sharing your designs via Facebook will be available soon.

The game costs £1.99 – $2.99 in the USA – and comes with optional extra content available to buy online, which allow you to speed up coaster construction and unlock more rides and track parts. It is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Atari have announced they are working on a PC version, which will be a completely different experience. It will be available towards the end of 2014.
